Welcome to the Social Science Department
"Social Science classes help students understand how to be effective regional, state, national and global citizens. Curriculum in social studies encourages students to analyze historical situations and critically think about how our past affects us today and in the future. In Social Science courses, students will be able to analyze, compare, evaluate and synthesize historical perspectives and events allowing them to be better prepared to not only be successful, but also take an active role in forging the 21st century."
