College Prep Timeline
Click on the corresponding grade level of your student to see a timeline of suggested activities and tasks for the school year.
To be eligible to attend for a 4-year college (CSU, UC etc.) you will need to:
- Complete A-G requirements with a grade of a 'C' or better. You can use the form at the bottom of this page to track your grades for A-G (recommend downloading the pdf).
- Complete the SAT or ACT during Junior/Senior year if required by the college you plan to apply to.
- Apply to colleges by their deadline
Private colleges may requires essays and Letters of Recommendation
